18th ANNUAL MEMBER'S EXHIBITION
22/23 November 2025

Our 18th Exhibition will be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November 2025. Save the date and come along either Saturday or Sunday (or both!) to see what our members have been up to during the year. Featuring displays of handmade quilts, patchwork and textiles, it has become one of the signature events for Bungendore and draws visitors from across the state, the nation and overseas.

The exhibition includes a members' challenge, raffle quilt, viewer's choice and guessing competition. We have a sales table providing good quality, handmade craft which makes for ideal gifts for Christmas. There are many local cafes nearby and a number of interesting shops, including the award-winning Bungendore Wood Works Gallery, in which to browse and spend an hour or two (or even more!). Come and visit Bungendore and enjoy all it has to offer.

If you are interested in becoming a member and getting involved please visit our Membership Page.

ANNUAL challenge
TO MAKE A 13" BLOCK AND TO INCLUDE A CHOSEN FABRIC

Each year, during our Annual Quilt Exhibition, Bungendore Quilters holds a Challenge for our members and the winners are chosen by a Viewer's Choice. The entries are displayed for our visitors to see on black screens or tables.

This year, the Challenge was to make a 13" block to be cut down to a 12.5" block to then make the blocks into a gift quilt. When done, we will put the gift quilt/s on our website.

guest exhibitor

Each year the Bungendore Quilt Exhibition invites a guest exhibitor or group to exhibit their art on the stage in the Bungendore War Memorial Hall. In 2023 our guest exhibitor was Chris Gillespie, a teacher and one of our own members who has extensive experience in quilting and design.

These exhibitors focus on one particular area of the textile arts or in the case of groups, a variety of textile arts. Our guest exhibitor gives a short introduction to themselves and their craft during the opening of the exhibition on the Friday evening before the weekend gets underway.
