18th Annual Member's Exhibition
22–23 November 2025

Our 18th Exhibition will be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November 2025. Save the date and come along either Saturday or Sunday (or both!) to see what our members have been up to during the year. Featuring displays of handmade quilts, patchwork and textiles, it has become one of the signature events for Bungendore and draws visitors from across the state, the nation and overseas.

The exhibition includes a members' challenge, raffle quilt, viewer's choice, quilt block hunt and guessing competition. We have a sales table providing good quality, handmade craft which make ideal gifts for Christmas. There are many local cafes nearby and a number of interesting shops in which to browse and spend an hour or two (or even more!). Come and visit Bungendore and enjoy all it has to offer.

We are more than happy to send you bookmarks to give to your family or friends or if you are a shop or group, to give/send to your customers/members. We hope to see you at our exhibition!

One challenge is to make a 10” quilted block in the likeness of another member using any fabric or related material – ie buttons, lace, ribbon, felt, yarn, etc...

The second challenge is to make a small quilted bag (no bigger than A4 size – 8.25” x 11.75”) of any description.

Guest Exhibitor

Each year the Bungendore Quilt Exhibition invites a guest exhibitor or group to exhibit their art on the stage in the Bungendore War Memorial Hall. In 2025 our guest exhibitor will be Merle Ketley, a former secondary textiles educator, textiles artist and one of our own members.
She is multidisciplinary in the field of textiles, sewing and design.

Each year the Bungendore Quilter’s invites a guest exhibitor or group to exhibit their art on the stage in the Bungendore War Memorial Hall. Some of these exhibitors have one particular focus in an area of textiles arts, or a variety of different interests.

Our guest exhibitor gives a short introduction to themselves and their craft during the opening of the exhibition on the Friday evening before the weekend gets underway.
