18th Annual Member's Exhibition
22–23 November 2025

Our 18th Exhibition was held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November 2025. Our members showcased many beautiful quilts that they have made during the year. The exhibition featured displays of handmade quilts, patchwork and textiles, and has become one of the signature events for Bungendore and draws visitors from across the state, the nation and overseas.

The exhibition included a members' challenge, raffle quilts, viewer's choice, quilt block hunt and guessing competition. We had a sales table providing good quality, handmade craft which make ideal gifts for Christmas.

If you would like to print the bookmark out as a pdf, please click here. If you missed our exhibition this year, pop the fourth weekend in November into your diary for 2026!

If you are interested in becoming a member and getting involved please visit our membership page.

Annual raffle

The Bungendore Quilters raffle raises funds for our gift quilts and other projects as well as to continue to hold our annual exhibition.

Tickets are $2 each and are available until the end of the exhibition on the Sunday.

The raffle is drawn by "the men" who put up our exhibition and pull it down again, with winners notified by phone and published in the Regional Independent. We have the men draw the raffle so there is no possible collusion if a quilter is drawn out.

2025 annual challenge...two challenges!

Each year, during our annual quilt exhibition, Bungendore Quilters holds a challenge for our members and the winners are chosen by a Viewer's Choice. The entries are displayed for our visitors to see on black screens or tables.

This year we have two challenge options.

One challenge is to make a 10” quilted block in the likeness of another member using any fabric or related material – ie buttons, lace, ribbon, felt, yarn, etc...

AND/OR

The second challenge is to make a small quilted bag (no bigger than A4 size – 8.25” x 11.75”) of any description.

Guest Exhibitor

Each year the Bungendore Quilt Exhibition invites a guest exhibitor or group to exhibit their art on the stage in the Bungendore War Memorial Hall. Some of these exhibitors have one particular focus in an area of textiles arts, or a variety of different interests. Our guest exhibitor/s gives a short introduction to themselves and their craft during the opening of the exhibition on the Friday evening before the weekend gets underway.

In 2025 our guest exhibitor was Merle Ketley, a former secondary textiles educator, textiles artist and one of our own members.
She is multidisciplinary in the field of textiles, sewing and design.
