Visitors from anywhere are more than welcome to visit Bungendore Quilters at any of our Sew & Chat days. If you are a local, hopefully you will consider joining our group. We have members from Bungendore and surrounding localities, as well as from the ACT, Griffith in the Riverina and Dalmeny on the South Coast.

Our Sew & Chat days are on the second Tuesday, and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month (except the fourth Saturday in December).

Our general meetings are held on the fourth Saturday every second month, starting in January each year, and after that meeting it converts into the Sew & Chat Saturday. December is excluded.

Membership to Bungendore Quilters Inc is on a yearly basis and based on the financial year (1 July to 30 June). Our AGM is held in July and members must be financial to hold executive committee positions and vote.

Fees for membership to Bungendore Quilters are:
$40 per adult member
$20 per junior member (under 18)
$60 cap for one adult member and any number of junior members from the same family
Please note there are no pro-rated fees.

 

Sew & Chat days have a minimal fee for room hire, except for the Sew & Chat day after a General Meeting.
Fees are also charged for attendance at a BQI retreat and for entering items in the annual quilt exhibition. Member’s only pay for activities they attend or quilts they enter in the exhibition.
