Quilt NSW Exhibition @ Craft Alive Sydney... Bus Trip with Queanbeyan Quilters
Queanbeyan Quilters are looking at running a bus trip again this year to the Quilt NSW Exhibition and Craft Alive Sydney. The cost is to be determined but last year it was around $100.00 for non-QQ members, and it included an entry ticket to the event. End of Life quilts for Indigenous People in Hospitals in ACT
On the 14th of March Joyce came to talk to us at our Sew & Chat day to tell us about the End of Life quilts she makes for Indigenous People who are in Canberra Hospital, North Canberra Hospital (formerly Calvery) and Clare Holland House. She brought a variety of quilts which she showed us and explained the patterns used for the construction. Foundation Piecing Workshop
10am Saturday 11 th April Demonstration and hands-on If you have a foundation piecing pattern that you want to use, please bring that and 2 copies of the pattern and the fabric you want to use.
