Bungendore Quilters Inc. include quilters who willingly make time to produce quilts for groups of very worthwhile receipients.

Compassion Quilts
As a Bungendore community group, when possible, we extend support in tragic circumstances through the donation of quilts made by members. We hope that this gesture can bring comfort to local families in difficult times.

Queanbeyan Hospital
Bungendore Quilters Inc also donate quilts to families who have lost newborn babies at Queanbeyan Hospital.

The quilt needs to be no larger than 24" x 16" and wadding is not required. As there is no wadding necessary, the sleeve technique can be used instead of binding. Simple designs are the most appropriate.

2012 Wall Hangings
It was recently agreed by members that the following two wall hangings would be made and donated this year.

 In response to a request from Snowy Hydro Southcare we are creating a wall hanging for the childrens ward at the Canberra Hospital, featuring Flash the Helicopter.

 A group of members are currently busy stitching a wall hanging for the Queanbeyan Hospital Birthing Suite with the theme What Mothering Means.
