Each November Bungendore comes alive with the wonderful display of quilts and textile arts made by our local enthusiasts. All manner of handmade quilts, patchwork and textiles adorn our historic Memorial Hall in Molonglo Street, Bungendore and locals and visitors alike delight in the display by our local craftspeople.
Each year the Bungendore Quilt Exhibition has a special mini-exhibition focusing on one particular area of the textile arts. In 2011 we saw photographer Stan d'Argeavel show a wonderful display of some of his finest work. This was accompanied by his informative "Ways of seeing" address on opening night. We were also lucky enough to have Bronwyn and Bianca Hall's award winning quilt titled "Hollywood" as the exhibitions feature quilt
