| Each November Bungendore comes alive with the wonderful display of quilts and textile arts made by our local enthusiastists. All manner of handmade quilts, patchwork and textiles adorn our historic Memorial Hall in Molonglo Street, Bungendore and locals and visitors alike delilght in the display by our local craftspeople. Each year the Bungendore Quilt Exhibition has a special mini-exhibition focusing on one particular area of the textile arts. In 2009 we saw art quilter Beth Miller show a wonderful display of some of her finest work. The 2009 Viewer's Choice Awards were hotly contested this year with only a few votes between each of the first three places. Congratulations to all winners and thank you to everyone who voted! |

2nd place went to Sheryl-Ann Schaefer who made a beautiful black, white and red quilt. |
